This journey is built around Angama: five nights in one of Africa’s most acclaimed safari lodges, elevated quite literally above the Great Rift Valley. It includes a private safari vehicle, hot-air balloon flight, in-tent massage, and even a professional photoshoot, creating a safari that feels both intimate and cinematic.
We’ve paired it with a night in Nairobi to give you space to rest and reset before your adventure.
Itinerary
Day 1 – Arrive in Nairobi
Arrive at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, where you’ll be welcomed the moment you step off the plane. A private transfer takes you to a tranquil boutique hotel where you can unwind, breathe, and ease into the journey ahead.
Day 2 – Into the Wild
After a leisurely breakfast, board your flight to the iconic Maasai Mara. As Nairobi slips away, the landscape opens with endless plains and scattered acacias. Upon arrival at Angama Mara, settle in with a delicious lunch overlooking the Great Rift Valley. Later, head out for your first game drive, ending the day with a delicious dinner beneath the stars.
Days 3–6 – The Angama Signature Stay
Four days of adventure, curated just for you.
Begin one morning with a sunrise hot-air balloon flight, drifting above the golden plains as wildlife moves below.
Enjoy exclusive use of your own private safari vehicle, with a guide who caters your game drive to your preferences.
Between adventures, surrender to stillness: a soothing in-tent massage, golden hour by the pool, or a book in the shade.
A professional photoshoot is included during your stay, capturing you in the landscape.
Walk with Maasai guides, listen to their stories, feel the soul of this land through their eyes.
Day 7 – Return to Nairobi & Departure
Fly back to Nairobi, where a day room awaits for rest or refreshment before your international departure. Depart with a heart full of stories, and a soul forever shaped by the Mara.
