Our Story
Wilbur was founded by Maya Morgan, alongside her parents Dean and Kali, a family of seasoned travelers who fell deeply in love with East Africa’s wild beauty and cultural depth.
What began as a passion became a purpose, to share the soul of this region with others, through journeys that are thoughtful, elevated, and never mass-produced.
Today, Wilbur is proudly family-led and locally grounded, working with the region’s most trusted guides, conservationists, and creative partners to craft one-of-a-kind experiences.
A note from Maya
I was lucky to spend much of my life between many countries, but it was Kenya that stayed with me. There’s something about it, the wildness and the people, that reminds you of what truly matters in life.
With Wilbur, I wanted to create journeys that reflect that feeling: personal, intentional, and definitely unforgettable. A feeling that stays with you long after you’ve left.
